Wow! I’m sorry I missed Leslie! He had his own show on community access television for a while (he may still, but I haven’t seen it in ages). Bless his heart, he was dumb as a stump. I’m not sure what type of drugs he was into. He as a big tourist attraction for a while.

We’re just overrun with characters in Austin. It’s one of the things that makes it fun to live here…and the fact that they don’t feel the need to hide away so much here. We (well, most of us, anyway) love our eccentrics.

Congratulations on being a non-smoker. Good for you, really!

I’ve read about Leslie and seen him on Leno I think, just a quick video of interesting characters of folks in Austin and he was wearing a thong then. I think I mighta voted for him but he sure did look like a meth addict – so skinny! Almost a skeleton.
